Our unsheltered neighbors are facing tough times living outside!

The Westside Interfaith Network (WIN), our fundraising partner, is asking for clean, wearable fall/winter clothing in all sizes, seasonally appropriate for unsheltered men and women. Please donate only appropriate casual clothing for people living outdoors (ie no dresses, men’s suits, party clothes, high heels, etc…be careful).

Waterproof outerwear is a priority, but the following items are also welcome: sleeping bags, blankets, cushions, tarps and backpacks. Please review your camping gear and consider donating what you no longer need or use.

Non-perishable food and hygiene items are distributed through WIN’s ‘Welcome Table’, a weekly Saturday meal for low-income and homeless people housed at White Center. This distribution serves as a stopgap for many people who depend on weekly visits to the food bank.

Hygiene items include toilet paper, deodorant, toothbrush and paste, shampoo and conditioner, razors and shaving cream, baby wipes, adult sweaters and diapers for baby.

Staples are a priority, along with peanut butter, canned protein, canned fruits and vegetables (pop-tops preferred).

A big thank you to our generous community for supporting our neighbors in need!
