The Essential List: Lauren Parmar

Lauren Parmar is Head of Cultural Operations and Studios for The Mill London. After joining The Mill in 2017, Lauren quickly took on a central role in the business, working on many milestones for the company, including the launch of The Mill’s Berlin studio in 2019.

Since then, Lauren has been instrumental in articulating and growing The Mill’s culture across all global studios, working to create an exceptional experience for customers and employees. Lauren’s passion for people and culture has led her to design and implement several new policies and initiatives, including revamping The Mill London’s maternity policy, creating global mentorship schemes, introducing new onboarding safeguards and procedures, leading The Mill’s commitment to becoming a Disability Confident Employer, creating The Mill’s hybrid workplace, leading the global learning initiative at work and, more recently, creating The Mill’s new Cultural Charter which outlines The Mill’s values ​​and commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
