Depp, who was carrying a mocha briefcase, briefly greeted fans before being ushered into a chauffeured car. He wore dark aviator glasses and had a brown scarf wrapped around the handle of his briefcase.

There is speculation that the actor has been offered a multi-million dollar deal to return to The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise as his beloved character, Captain Jack Sparrow.

A source reportedly told Poptopic that Depp has been in talks with Disney since his legal victory and that a possible comeback is on the cards to the tune of $300 million, the Daily Mail reported.

The source reportedly said Disney “contacted the actor ahead of his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard and asked if he would be interested in returning for another pirate movie or two.”

But Depp insisted he would not return to the franchise under any circumstances when asked about it during the defamation trial.

“If Disney came at you with $300 million and a million alpacas, wouldn’t there be anything in the world that would make you go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean movie?” he was asked.

“That’s right,” Depp replied.

A rep for the actor reportedly told E! News that the quoted offer and the conversation were completely false.

“It’s made up,” they said.

Following a high-profile trial that lasted six weeks, it was ruled that Depp had been defamed by Heard and therefore should receive $10 million in compensation and $5 million in punitive damages. .

Heard is expected to appeal, with reports that she cannot pay damages and is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Depp was also ordered to pay Heard $2 million following the jury’s finding that the actress had been defamed by one of Depp’s attorneys.

Depp had sued Heard over a December 2018 article in The Washington Post in which she described herself as a “public figure representing domestic violence.”
