Jennifer Aniston lamented old Hollywood, saying “there are no more movie stars”.
For decades, the 53-year-old actor has been a fixture in the entertainment industry, best known for his role as Rachel Green on the 10-season hit sitcom Friends.
She is currently starring in the upcoming third season of the Apple TV+ workplace drama. The morning show and has at least two movies in the works.
“No one will ever be famous the way they are,” Aniston said on her December cover story with Seduce.
“This kind of mass-fame phenomenon burning so hard for so long, it’s just not feasible today. She’s like a silent movie star among a generation of TikTok***s dips.
Responding to the compliment, Aniston said, “Whoa. Oh, that just gave me chills.
“I’m a little suffocated. I feel like he’s dying. There are no more movie stars. There is no more glamor. Even Oscar parties were so fun.
Elsewhere in the interview, Aniston spoke candidly about her journey with in vitro fertilization, noting the public pressure she faced over whether she was going to have children.
She opened up about her attempts to get pregnant, calling it a “difficult road”.
“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really tough. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, etc. I was throwing it all away,” Aniston said.
“I would have given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor. You just don’t think so. So here I am today. The ship sailed.
