Britney Spears pregnant; ‘American Idol’ Contestant Drops Out; Movie “Spirit Halloween”: Buzz

Britney Spears pregnant

Oh, baby, baby: Britney Spears is pregnant. The 40-year-old singer announced on Monday that she is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. “It’s growing!!! If 2 are in there…i might just lose it,” she wrote on Instagram. “Obviously I won’t be going out as much because the paps are getting shot like they unfortunately already have…Spreading lots of joy and love!!!” Spears is already a mom to two sons, a 16-year-old son and Jaden, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. At a court hearing last year to end her conservatorship, she said she wanted her implanted birth control device removed so she could have more children and was told that she couldn’t. She became engaged to Asghari in September and her conservatorship ended in November.

‘American Idol’ contestant drops out

Surprise! “American Idol” contestant Kenedi Anderson dropped out of the show on Monday, citing “personal reasons.” “It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I know it’s necessary,” the 18-year-old singer said. “I’m so grateful to American Idol, the judges, the producers, the amazing contestants and all the fans who have supported me.” No other details were announced. Anderson was an early fan favorite after earning a platinum ticket from judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan for her audition performance of Lady Gaga’s “Applause.”

Movie “Spirit of Halloween”

And a “Spirit Halloween” movie is in the works, based on the seasonal Spirit Halloween stores we see every October. Variety reports that Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future”) and Rachael Leigh Cook (“She’s All That”) will star in a family horror film about a group of college friends who challenge each other to stay locked in a Spirit Halloween store on the evening of October 31, only to find the retailer is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the spooky animatronic characters. Children embark on a thrilling and spooky adventure in order to survive the night and avoid becoming possessed themselves. A release date has not been announced.
